Combust Media 4.3.1 — September 2026

Let AI organize your channels ✨

A 4,000-channel playlist is unusable until it's in folders, and nobody wants to sort that by hand. Tap Organize in the folder strip above your channel list and the whole list comes back proposed into folders — sports, news, kids, adult — reusing the folders you already have instead of inventing duplicates.

Lock folders with a PIN 🔒

Set an app PIN, then lock any folder. Channels inside a locked folder ask for the PIN before they ever start playing — including when you land on one from Random, Next or Previous — so an Adult folder can't surprise anyone. One correct PIN lasts until you restart the app, so you're not asked channel by channel.

Longer buffer

On a shaky connection, buffer much further ahead to ride out the drops. The seek bar now shows how much is loaded ahead of where you are. It's a per-device setting, so your TV can buffer hard while your phone stays light on data.

Introducing Hearth — your media, served from home 🔥

Point the new Hearth desktop app (macOS, Windows, Linux) at your movies, series and music, and they appear in the new Hearth tab — organised beautifully with posters, descriptions and ratings, streaming to your phone and TV over your home network. Your files never leave home.

Sign in on your TV with your phone

No more typing passwords with the remote — the TV sign-in screen shows a QR code. Scan it with the app (Settings → Link your TV) and you're in.
